Water Sports

Pirate Adventures

Welcome to Pirate Adventures of Myrtle Beach, a place where children come to experience the magic of sailing away in search of sunken treasure. Come aboard our pirate ship and get caught up in this real life adventure and be amazed as our crew taps into the wonder of a child’s imagination. Visit the MarshWalk by boat.  You’ll find plenty of places to dock for lunch and dinner or just a casual stroll.  And at the Crazy Sister Marina you’ll find boat side fueling, deep water slips and a marina store stocked with supplies and gifts.


Just across from the MarshWalk lies The Lazy Gatorlazygator
with over 15,000 square feet of unique gifts and Christmas treasures.  Rest a spell on the cool summer porch in old-fashioned rocking chairs or shop ‘til your heart’s content!  They have nautical and coastal home décor, kitchen and bath accessories, garden items and jewelry.  You’ll also find greeting cards, stationary and truly treasured souvenirs.  Don’t miss the homemade fudge!  At the Lazy Gator, it’s Christmas year round with a beautiful selection of Dept. 56, Buyers Choice, Possible Dreams and so much more!

Lowcountry History & Wildlife Preserve

Less than five miles from the waterfront MarshWalk you’ll discover Brookgreen Gardens.  Brookgreen is a National Historic Landmark with one of the largest collections of figurative sculpture in an outdoor setting by American artists in the world.  The thousands of acres in Brookgreen’s Lowcountry History and Wildlife Preserve are rich with evidence of the native plants and animals of the South Carolina Lowcountry as well as the great rice plantations of the 1800’s. 

The land is a mix of forested swamps, salt marsh, sandy ridges and fresh tidal swamps.  Don’t miss this magnificent look into the past!

Huntington Beach State Park

Nearby Huntington State Park boasts a sweeping Grand Strand beach, pristine and wide open, sea-breeze camping and fishing from a jetty or in the surf, and some of the finest bird-watching on the East Coast.  Don’t miss the chance to see loggerhead turtles and other endangered plant and animal species up close.  The park’s freshwater lake is a sure-fire place to see alligators and sometimes even a mink or two.
